Audio Problems?
Have your recent events and productions left you struggling to achieve crystal-clear dialogue?

Behind The Scenes
This is the view from my production cart, designed for a standing workflow where I can easily monitor and access all equipment at a glance. It features a pull-out keyboard for typing, and the entire cart can be split in half to reduce weight, making it easier to navigate stairs.
Pictured here are my Axient Digital micro-bodypack transmitters. Clients love them for their antenna-free design, making them comfortable to wear directly against the body.
One of my production carts set up inside my spacious van, with ample room to comfortably work inside the vehicle as well.
Pictured above is my lightweight ramp, which I can easily use to load and unload equipment from my van. It’s also handy for navigating challenging locations—if needed.
This was the USGBC Green Gala Awards, where I handled live audio, playback, recording, and live editing of the event. The setup featured two cameras, a podium microphone, Two VOG wireless microphones and some program audio.
I can transport all my cases using a rickshaw-style cart, like the one shown in this photo. Despite the heavy load, the rickshaw design uses leverage to make it surprisingly effortless—even when navigating stairs.
My trusty Sound Devices Scorpio is a powerhouse packed into such a compact form factor. Below it sits my compact timecode slate, which is incredibly durable and reliable.
I've maintained a consistent organizational method, which has proven invaluable when adapting to different carts and shelves.
In this photo, you can see my live streaming cart, with my production van in the background. The van's lights can illuminate outside the van, making night load-outs significantly easier.
Axient Digital Handheld Microphones are the best wireless microphones on the market. I trust them completely and have never experienced a single dropout in the two years I've owned them.
This was a panel discussion for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, with four wireless handheld microphones and additional sound reinforcement. I also handled playback for the event.
Here are the lavalier accessories I rely on, including stickies, mounts, pouches, Hush Heels, and even a lamp.

Production Sound: A clear shot list, access to power on set, and early information about the shooting environment. A quiet space for sound monitoring is also appreciated. While it depends on the complexity of the shoot, I typically need about 30 minutes to an hour for basic setups.
Live Event Sound: Safe Parking for offloading equipment, access to power on site and early information about the event’s order of events. Setup time depends on the size of the event, but I usually require a few hours for equipment setup, sound checks, and fine-tuning the system to the venue.

I scout locations ahead of time when possible and come prepared with noise reduction solutions like sound blankets, windshields, soft heels, and an array of directional microphones.

By coordinating with the director and other department heads, choosing the right microphone placement, and monitoring levels closely throughout the shoot.
While there may be situations, such as when a large wind machine is required, that make capturing clean sound challenging, it's important to record a reference of the dialogue. This helps ensure the performance can be accurately reenacted during post-production.
